Obituary for Alice Pearce Rice

Alice Faye Pearce Rice, 70 of Youngsville transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Hillside Nursing Center. She was born on January 15, 1949 to the late Clyde and Doll Denton Pearce. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David M. Rice. Alice was a very loving and caring person who loved the Lord, birds, and her dog Bella. She was affectionately known as Grambee by her grandchildren whom she adored.

Graveside service will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Steve Davis officiating.

She is survived by her son, David Rice (Danielle); daughters, Penny Poythress (Phillip) and Kelly Cash (Richard); grandchildren, Lucas, Katie, Brooke, Rebecca, Emma, Richie, Katlynn and Patrick and her brother, Leroy Pearce.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to offset funeral expenses.
