Obituary for Andy "JR" Lortcher

Andrew Robert Lortcher, Jr., 40, of Franklinton, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. He was born on February 8, 1980 to Andrew, Sr. and Margaret Glover Lortcher.

Andy loved hanging out with his friends, he was known for his infectious smile and his willingness to help anyone. Andy was self-taught in construction trades and loved fixing things, he also loved to relax while fishing.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday at 7:00 pm at Lancaster’s Franklinton Chapel.

In addition to his parents, Andrew and Margaret, Andy is survived by his sisters, Angel Schwiefert and Andrea Jenkins (Michael); a special niece, Victoria Jenkins; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Andy was preceded in death by his brothers, Meade Buckley and Johnny Lortcher.
