My Daddy, H.W. Chappell, was in Betty Ann's FHS Class of 1954 (and was taught in 5th grade by her mother, Mabel). He remembers her as a beauty, an excellent athlete, and a person of great intellect. Lem---you may not remember me, but we were in third grade together at Franklinton the year your father was stationed elsewhere. We shared a love of rock collecting. My sympathy upon the passing of your mother. Mike Chappell

So sorry, Wyatt and family, to hear of Betty Ann's passing. Although I had not seen her for years, I will always remember her cheery smile. I know you will miss her.
