Brady Thomas Stainback, Sr., 93 of Louisburg, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 19, 2020. He was born on August 26, 1926 in Vance county to the late Aidken and Elsie Watkins Stainback. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Hines Stainback.

Brady owned and operated a tour bus company, as well as driving for over 30 years with Trailways Bus Service. Captain Stainback was a proud World War II veteran, having served his country in the Army Air Corps as a bombardier. Brady was a faithful member of Mt. Gilead Church. He loved his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and traveling.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.

Brady is survived by his two sons, Stephen Stainback of Knightdale and Brady T. “Buddy” Stainback, Jr. and his wife, Joanne of St. Cloud, FL.; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a niece, Debbie Butler and husband, Charles; 2 great-nieces; a great-nephew; a great-great-nephew; a great-great-niece; his special friend and caregiver, Betty Cothran, and longtime pal and caregiver, Andy Cothran.
