Obituary

Obituary for Carolyn Allen (Lowery)

Carolyn Lowery Allen, 76, of Kittrell transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at her home. She was born on December 11, 1942 to the late Ruben Alford and Bessie Rogers Lowery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Jones Wayne Hart, Jr. Carolyn loved the outdoors, she liked to work in her yard, care for her animals and she enjoyed fishing.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg with Reverend Bruce Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

She is survived by her husband, of 49 years, Donald Wayne Allen; daughter, Karen Cooke (Joseph); grandchildren, Lindsey Cooke (Kristen), Wesley Cooke; great grandson, Wyatt Cooke; brother, Henry Lowery (Billie) and her sisters, Claire Alford, Louise Choplin (Louis) and Alice Ray (Jimmy).
