Obituary

Fairis Ann Campbell, 84, of Paden City, WV went to meet her Savior, Monday, August 31, 2020 while at Marietta Memorial.

Fairis was born May 9, 1936 in Youngsville, NC; daughter of the late Luther and Letha (White) Lowery.

She was a homemaker, owner of Fairis’ Beauty Shop for over thirty years; enjoyed gardening, cooking, painting and reading books. A member of the Eastern Star, the Book Club at Paden City Library, volunteer for Journey Hospice and member of Paden City Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wm. Campbell; daughter, Rebecca Campbell; two brothers, Cleveland and Raeford Lowery and two sisters, Kate McCree and Mary Kemp.

Surviving are her son, John Mark Campbell of Sistersville, WV; daughter, Laura Snodgrass of St. Marys, WV; two brothers, Vernon and Tony Lowery; three sisters, Clara Briggs, Betty Boughman and Beatrice Harrison; five grandchildren, Luke (Megan) Campbell, Lincoln (Autumn) Campbell, Jenna Snodgrass, Creston Snodgrass and Isaac Snodgrass; eight great grandchildren, Ryan, Bindy, Arianna, Raleigh, Addison, Carsyn, Grayson and Emory and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2020 at the Paden City Christian Church, 105 E Main St., Paden City, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2020 with Martin Coffey and Sandy Bigelow co-officiating. Burial to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Fairis’ name, to Paden City Public Library, 114 S Fourth Ave., Paden City, WV 26159 or Paden City Christian Church, 105 E. Main St., Paden City, WV 26159.
