Obituary

Obituary for Helen Marie Pennington (Williams)

Helen Marie Williams Pennington, 72, of Wake Forest left us to be with the Lord on August 13, 2020. She was born on October 8, 1947 to the late Oscar and Ruby Rigsbee Williams. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Wayne Williams, and a sister, Mary Alice Miller.

Helen was a hard worker and very determined. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen had two dogs that meant the world to her, “Buddy” and “Polly” and she previously had two potbelly pigs that she loved dearly “Peaches” and “Melissa”.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10:30am at Wake Forest Town Cemetery with Reverend Alan Skinner officiating.

She is survived by her son, Gilbert Beddingfield, Jr. (Tonya); five grandchildren, Kelly Schwedler (Kent), Lisa Marie Isaacs (Drew), Heather Downs (Ryan), Brandon Bisby, and Ashley Bisby; two great-grandchildren, Lauren and Emerson; and her sister, Margie Jordan.

The family wants to express their heartfelt gratitude to Transition LifeCare for the love, compassion, and care provided to Helen.
