Obituary

Obituary for Janice Belle Dickerson (Evans)

Janice Evans Dickerson, 82, of Louisburg transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Louisburg Health and Rehab. She was born on April 26, 1937 to the late Robert Henry and Fannie Belle Shearin Evans. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Eudora Apple, Nadine Redmond, Richard Evans and Thomas Evans. Janice enjoyed painting, crocheting and writing poems.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 to 1:45 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church where funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Butch Gordon and Pastor Ken Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Dickerson; daughters, Beth Gordon (Butch), Tammy Bennett (Kim), five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sister, Julia Elam (Bill) and many nieces and nephews.
