Obituary

Stanley Charles Beardslee, 84 of New Caney, TX departed this earthly life on Thursday, August 20, 2020 in Raleigh, NC. He was born on February 2, 1936 to the late Arthur and Jewel Oatman Beardslee. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ruth Cross Beardslee and granddaughter, Jasmine Beardslee.
Stanley was born in Hye, TX and raised in San Antonio, TX and attended Edgewood High School. After high school he served 4 years in the Air National Guard. He married Patsy in 1959 and moved to Boerne in 1972. He worked for JW Chandler in San Antonio as a contractor for Southwestern Bell, and owned S&W Contruction Company in Boerne, Texas. While living in Boerne he was involved with the Kendall County Fair
Association and was a lifetime member and regular bowler on Wednesday nights at the Boerne Turn Verein. He loved to spend time with his kids and grandkids. After retirement Stanley and Patsy moved to North Texas to live with his youngest daughter. While living there, they worked with special needs children in the Frisco ISD schools and spent many hours volunteering at their grandchildren's school activities. After their 2nd retirement from Frisco ISD they moved to live with their oldest daughter in New Caney, TX. He was an avid Hunter and NASCAR fanatic.

Services will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his children, Chuck Beardslee (Veda), Denise Inglis (Robert), Wesley Beardslee (Krista), and Shannon Vasilinda (Darryl), ten grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
